igubal EGLM LC - cost-effective and strong
The low-cost dimensional E series igubal EGLM spherical bearing is an alternative to EGLM and is characterised by a split housing made of igumid G. This particularly impact-resistant, long-fibre reinforced polymer is suitable for temperatures ranging from -40°C to +120°C, with short-term temperatures of up to +180°C possible. The housing material ensures high dimensional stability and long service life. igubal spherical bearings offer numerous advantages over conventional metallic spherical bearings and are a cost-effective, lightweight and robust choice for machine and plant engineering.
The spherical balls of the spherical bearings can be selected from various materials, including iglidur W300 (standard), iglidur W300 with stainless steel sleeve for increased tightening torque, iglidur J and iglidur J4. These polymers enable high wear resistance and a long bearing service life without the need for lubrication. This significantly reduces maintenance and ensures continuous performance in a wide range of applications.
A particularly noteworthy advantage of igubal spherical bearings is that they are lubrication-free, making them maintenance-free. Users no longer have to top up time-consuming and cost-intensive lubricants, which significantly reduces maintenance costs. In addition, the bearings are insensitive to dirt so that they function smoothly even under adverse environmental conditions.
Another important aspect of igubal spherical bearings is their self-aligning by means of a spherical ball. This enables reliable compensation of misalignments that can occur during assembly.
