Dampers

Dampers are used to control, regulate and measure airflows in HVAC systems. As igus components are characterised by a long service life and resistance to corrosion, they are popular for damper applications.

Fans

Fans are used to move the air within HVAC systems. We offer lubricant-free bearing options with high-speed plain bearings and xiros plastic ball bearings.

Multi-leaf dampers

• Moisture-resistant clip bearings and plain bearings e. g. made of iglide G300 in the pivot points of the flaps
• Low-wear plastic gears for control of the flaps
• Customized coupling joints for the transmission of forces in the gearbox

Control units

• iglide Q plain bearing for high dynamic loads in the pivot points of the flaps
• Optimized for pivoting movements of the flap

Rotary Drive

• Self-lubricating plain bearings e. g. made of iglide G300 for shaft bearings
• Noise dampening plastic gears e. g. made of iguform S270 for transmission in the gearbox
• Lead screw and lead screw nut for vertical movement also possible in special shapes

Fans

• Low-wear and media-resistant xiros ball bearings enable low-noise operation
