Liaoning Chunguang Pharmaceutical Equipment Co. is a manufacturer of packaging machines for the pharmaceutical industry. This cartoning machine from the manufacturer is used for closing blister packs for pharmaceutical products. The pill packs pass through several stations before arriving at the end of the line fully packaged. Linear bearing technology is used here at various points, e.g. for positioning tasks.
For the bearing solutions, the company was looking for components that would reduce the weight of the machine, enable smooth and precise movement and meet the high hygiene standards.

The manufacturer decided to use linear bearing systems from the drylin product range for the various adjustments within the packaging system for pharmaceutical products. Thus drylin W linear bearings, consisting of profile rail guides and profile carriages, are used. The linear bearings are completely lubrication- and maintenance-free, highly wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant and hygienic. They are supplemented by iglidur PRT slewing ring bearings, which enable rotation on a horizontal plane. Together with individually adjustable spacer rings, universal sliding elements and drive journals, the bearings can be customised for every application using the modular principle.
