For edge feeding for edge banding machines: The system uses two fast servo axes to fully automatically rotate edge materials of 0.4 mm - 2 mm thickness and up to a height of 28 mm thickness by 90 degrees and transport them to the edge infeed.

Conventional slewing ring ball bearings made of metal were not an option for ISAS Gmbh for the bearing of the glue edge unwinding mechanism. The company was therefore looking for a solution that did not require external lubrication and was resistant to dust.

With the xiros slewing ring ball bearing BB-RT-01-60-ES made of plastic, a suitable solution was found for the edge roller bearings. They ensure trouble-free operation of the system, are dust-resistant, durable, cost-effective and maintenance-free.
