In order to build new tracks for trains or trams, complex machinery is needed. Bearing points in track construction machines are exposed to considerable mechanical forces, vibrations, dust and weather influences. All these factors are no longer a problem if iglidur plain bearings are used. For high mechanical forces, e.g. edge loads or impacts, there are specially developed iglidur materials that can withstand static loads up to 200MPa and dynamic loads up to 140MPa.

E-chains and chainflex cables are also used in track-laying machines. Thanks to their special design, they are highly stable and durable. As a result, they provide secure guidance and thus protection for cables even under the heaviest loads. If the e-chains are also fitted with the fail-safe chainflex cables, the durability of the application is even greater. These cables are specially developed for heavy-duty use, withstand the smallest bend radii and torsional movements and come with a 4-year guarantee. Both the energy chains and the cables are weather-resistant and can withstand heat and cold without any problems. e-chains and chainflex cables are offered together as a ready-made readychain. This means that the cable carrier is fitted with the appropriate cables and connectors according to your requirements.
