WaveScan trade show was faced with the challenge of developing a technically sophisticated yet cost-effective solution for the creation of a portal.  
One particular requirement was to take into account the diverse and complex structures and conditions of building façades in a warm tropical region.
igus® The company was not only able to provide support in an advisory capacity, but also impressed with its products.

Apiro® stands for affordable gearbox solutions and flexible, customized solutions. 
To meet the requirements, the inspection system is designed to be lightweight and adaptable to different platforms such as gondolas, boom lifts and rope bending devices. 
In addition, the system is scalable thanks to the expandable drygear® Apiro® gearbox system. The modular gearbox system offers a wide range of products based on a combination of various gearbox input and output designs, different gear ratios and a wide range of accessories. The size of the 3D scanner system can be flexibly adapted depending on the specific requirements of the respective inspection.
