Linear axis for ESD and food applications
The SLW-1040 linear module in stainless steel design – ideal for applications in sensitive environments such as the packaging, food, or pharmaceutical industries. Use of iglidur® AX500 for all bearing components – both linear sliding pads and threaded nuts – makes the module 100% lubricant-free and maintenance-free. AX500 combines good tribological properties with electrical conductivity and FDA compliance, making it perfect for manual format adjustments with limited loads and speeds.
 
    Tech up:
    • Stainless steel components for optimum conductivity and use in corrosion-critical environments. iglidur® AX500: conductive, FDA-compliant, lubricant-free


    Cost down:
    • Linear slide with replacement bearing for bearing replacement in under 60 seconds – directly on the rail without dismantling


    Proof:
    • Resistance values between 2.6 and 3.16 ohms determined in the igus® laboratory confirm the consistent conductivity in the system. Measurement points included the carriage plate, crossbeam, floor fixing, and housing bearing.
